Based on the knowledge, experience and expertise of domestic experts, the BN Co has developed the technology of X-ray Micro-CT imaging equipment for the first time in the region. The creation of this infrastructure requires the mastery of technical knowledge in various fields such as: mechanical engineering, nuclear engineering in the field of imaging, software engineering (in low and high levels), and electronics engineering, hence the technology of Micro-CT imaging with micron-sized scale can be assumed as High-Tech. Nowadays Micro-CT is used in the world by a wide range of industries, including pre-clinical studies, imaging of oil reservoir samples, imaging of deposit specimens, imaging biological samples, and sensitive parts in the aerospace industry and automotive industries. With the establishment of a Memorandum of Understanding with research institutes in various fields, the company has been developing its micron-sized imaging capabilities more than before. Now, the company has two different Micro-CT products: The LOTUS-NDT (for oil and gas applications) and LOTUS-inVivo (for the purpose of imaging small animals with application in pre-clinical studies).
