Koupal Energy Development Company was established by a group of M.Sc. and Ph.D. graduated students of chemical and petroleum engineering department of Sharif University of technology under the support of some of its faculties in order to render petroleum and natural gas upstream technological services. The activities of the company could be listed as laboratory equipment manufacturing, engineering consulting and laboratory services in the area of petroleum and natural gas engineering. The company is known as the pioneer of manufacturing of drilling fluid laboratory equipment in Iran. Manufacturing of surface phenomena laboratory equipment with new design, successfully finalizing a number of research projects and equipping educational and research laboratories in the field of petroleum and natural gas engineering could be mentioned as a part of Koupal Energy Development Company.
